This document is for HP computers with Windows 10.
Windows Security is the default antivirus app and firewall that is included with Windows 10. Windows Security protects your computer against viruses, spyware, and other security threats.
By default, Windows Security is turned on. If you install another antivirus app, Windows Security automatically turns off. If you uninstall the other app, Windows Security turns on automatically.
note:For business computers, the security settings might be managed at the IT level and might not be available to configure in Windows. To confirm, contact your company's IT department or your local IT service.
