The auto-rotate feature does not work on computers running Windows 7. This is due to a limitation of the operating system.

RESOLUTION
The auto-rotate feature is not supported by Windows 7 (it is supported in Windows 8 and Windows 10).
HP has developed a utility (HP System Event Utility) that provides the necessary support. Install the following two SoftPaqs to enable auto-rotation in Windows 7:
