Keyboard and Mouse Not Working After Factory Reset (Windows 10)

This document is for HP PCs with Windows 10
If you completed a factory reset using HP Recovery Manager and your keyboard and mouse are now unresponsive, use the following steps.
  note:
The steps in this document only apply if you completed a factory reset using HP Recovery Manager.
  1. Turn off the computer.
  2. Unplug the power cord.
  3. Leave the power cord unplugged for at least 60 seconds.
  4. Plug in the power cord.
  5. Turn on the computer.
The keyboard and mouse should now be responsive.
