HP Instant Ink - Promotions and Free Month Offers

This document is for HP Instant Ink customers.
If you’re signing up for Instant Ink with a new printer, you may be eligible for a free trial of HP Instant Ink. To claim your trial, you must enroll within 7 days of setting up your printer.
Print as many pages as you want during the trial period, up to the promotion maximum. You can print up to the page maximum without any extra charges, no matter which plan you selected. Once you know how many pages you print per month, you can change your plan at any time. If you change your plan during the free trial, you will not be charged.
After you enroll your printer with the HP Instant Ink service, you can sign in to your account to see if a promotion, free month, or other special offer was applied.
  1. Go to hpinstantink.com/signin (the HP Connected website) to sign in to your HP Instant Ink account, if you are not signed in already.

  2. Free months applied to your account and the date that billing starts are displayed in the My Account section. Click the "See FREE months details" link for more information.

  3. After the free or promotional months have been used, you can find a record of the promotional credit in your Account History. Click Account History in the left navigation area, and make sure All History is selected at the top of the table. The promotion or special offer appears with the date it was applied.

    If the promo code was not applied, keep the promo code, and then continue to the next step to contact Support.
  4. On your HP Instant Ink account page, click Chat at the top of the page to open a chat with HP support (Chat is not available in all countries).

  5. To find a phone number for HP Support in your location, follow these steps:
    1. Click Contact HP Support in the Help Center area of the account page.

    2. On the HP Customer Support - Contact page, scroll down, and select your location and language.
    3. Click Show options.

    4. Select Chat Now or Get Phone Number (Chat is not available in all countries).
    5. Fill in the form and then click Chat Now or Submit.
    6. For phone support, call the number displayed and be prepared to provide the case number that is displayed on the contact page.
note:
If you were charged during your free trial, you printed over the page maximum that the free trial allows. When you print over your monthly pages, you are billed for additional pages.
