HP PCs - Windows Recovery Environment Is Disabled When Using Go Back After Upgrade Is Performed

The Windows Recovery Environment is disabled after using the Go Back feature to restore an earlier build of Windows 10. This issue occurs on all HP computers shipped with Windows 10 after Windows updates are done, then Go Back is used to go to an earlier build of Windows 10.
The computer may exhibit one or more of the following symptoms:
Pressing F11 during BIOS POST displays an error message:
a required device isn't connected or can't be accessed; error code 0xc000000f.
Starting the Windows Recovery Environment From Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Reset this PC displays the following error:
Insert your Windows installation or recovery media, and restart your PC with the media.
To resolve this issue, follow the steps below to create recovery media and run the recovery process from the recovery media.
note:
: A minimum of 3 GB of free space is required to install the HP Recovery Manager update. HP Recovery Media can be created with an USB flash drive or DVDRW Media. If the computer is not shipped with DVDRW drive (DVD Read/Write), connect an external DVDRW drive to the computer before following the steps below.
  1. From the Start Menu open the Search Bar and type HP Recovery Media Creation.
  2. Select Yes on the UAC (User Account Control).
  3. Check I Accept option and click Continue.
  4. On the Create Recovery Media page, it will display the supported media USB flash drive and DVD and DVDDL media. (The DVD and DVDDL option is for computers configured with an DVDRW drive or connected with an external DVDRW drive).
Option a: Create HP Recovery Media on a USB flash drive:
  1. On the Supported Media page, prepare the USB flash drive with the minimum size capacity which is shown under the USB flash drive icon. (The maximum is 32 GB) and insert it into an available USB port.
Option b: Create HP Recovery media on DVD Media:
  1. On the Supported Media page, prepare the number of blank discs which is shown under DVD icon, and insert the disc into the DVDRW drive.
  2. After the USB flash drive or blank DVD media is inserted, click Continue to start HP Recovery media creation.
note:
: If the computer does not have a recovery partition, or if the HP Recovery Media cannot be created, contact HP Customer Support to obtain HP Recovery Discs or an HP USB Recovery Drive.
