HP LaserJet Pro Printers and Multifunction Printers - HP Smart Install Discontinuation

HP Smart Install is a software installation option that was distributed with many HP LaserJet Pro printers and multifunction (MFP) printers. HP no longer supports the Smart Install installation path. For the best customer experience, HP recommends using the latest installation software available on hp.com.

To get the latest printer software and drivers, HP recommends downloading and installing the software from HP’s support Web site.

Go to 123.hp.com to obtain the latest driver.

Or,

1. Go to www.hp.com/support.
2. Select your country/language.
3. Select Drivers & Downloads.
4. Select Printers.
5. Type your product name/number in the HP Products search box.
6. Press Enter or click the search icon.
7. Depending on your printer model:
   • Select the printer model from the list of search results.
     Or,
   • Select the Go option to get the software and driver results.
8. Select or confirm the operating system.
9. Locate the driver that you want to download, and then click Download.
