HP DeskJet, ENVY, OfficeJet Printers - Printing Self-Test Pages

A Printer Status Report lists the printer serial number, estimated ink levels, ink cartridge numbers, printer usage, and connectivity, scan, and fax settings.

1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.
2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.
3. Touch Tools.
4. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Print Status Reports.
   The printer prints the report.

A Network Configuration Page lists important network settings such as network status and the printer IP address.

1. Make sure there is U.S. Letter or A4 size, unused, plain paper in the input tray.
2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.
3. Touch Tools.
4. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Network Configuration Report.
   A Network Configuration Page prints up to three pages of information.

A Print Quality Diagnostic report helps identify the source of print quality issues.

Print a Wireless Network Test Results report for information about the wireless connection of the printer. The Wireless Network Test Results report provides information about the printer status, hardware (MAC) address, and the IP address. If the printer is connected to a wireless network, the test report displays details about the network settings. It also indicates any wireless connectivity issues and might explain how to fix them.

1. Make sure there is U.S. Letter or A4 size, unused, plain paper in the input tray.
2. On the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon (), then touch the Settings icon ().
3. Touch Print Reports, then touch Wireless Test Report.
   A Wireless Network Test Results report prints.

Print a Fax Test Report to identify and resolve faxing issues for HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4675, 4676, 4678, HP OfficeJet 4650, 4652, 4654, and 4655 All-in-One printers.

1. Make sure there is U.S. Letter or A4 size, unused, plain paper in the input tray.
2. On the printer control panel, touch Fax, then touch Setup.
3. Touch Tools, then touch Test Fax.
   The printer tests the fax connection and prints a Fax Test Report.

Printing an Extended Self-Test Report displays advanced image quality troubleshooting issues and prints the following data: vertical/horizontal ink cartridge alignment settings, printhead nozzle issues, color and black ink cartridge test patterns, and error messages.

1. Make sure there is U.S. Letter or A4 size, unused, plain paper in the input tray.
2. On the printer control panel, touch the display in the following order: top left corner, bottom left corner, top left corner, and then the top left corner again (TL, BL, TL, TL).

3. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Extended Self Test.
   The Extended Self-Test Report prints.
