HP JetAdvantage On Demand - Operating systems and web browsers supported by HP JetAdvantage On Demand

HP JetAdvantage On Demand works best when using a supported browser to log into an HP JetAdvantage On Demand account. Some of the features may not work in older browsers. Please verify that your browser is updated to the most current version available to ensure all features of the HP JetAdvantage On Demand site work properly.

Supported operating systems

For Windows® (32 and 64 bit), the following operating systems are supported:
  • Windows® Vista
  • Windows® 7 SP1
  • Windows® 8
  • Windows® 8.1
  • Windows® 10
For OS X, the following operating systems are supported:
  • OS X 10.8 or newer

Supported web browsers

For Windows®, the following browsers are supported:
  • Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 8 (supported in "no compatibility mode" only), 9, 10, and 11
    note:
    When using Internet Explorer 8, there might be issues such as web pages not loading properly, mispositioned widgets on your dashboard, and/or objects that are improperly cropped or colored. Upgrading to a newer version of Internet Explorer might help to avoid these types of issues. For more information about HP JetAdvantage On Demand issues and possible solutions when using Internet Explorer 8, see the Internet Explorer 8 issues and solutions section below.
  • Mozilla® Firefox® 4 and newer
  • Google Chrome® 9 and newer

Internet Explorer 8 issues and solutions

When using Internet Explorer 8 and below, the following issues might occur. HP suggests upgrading to a newer version of Internet Explorer to avoid these issues.
  • Web pages such as the dashboard page and the activation email page might not load properly and there might be an error.
  • Widgets might be mispositioned on the dashboard.
  • Objects on the dashboard might be improperly shaped, positioned, cropped, or colored, and the dashboard displays differently than in other browsers like Chrome.
  • With a very long email address, the dropdown box might not display correctly when logging in or switching users.
  • When submitting a new company registration after correcting an email address that already exists in the system, you might be taken back to the beginning of the registration process rather than the registration being complete.
  • When entering user information and using the Tab key to move to the State/Province box, an Input is required error displays prematurely. To avoid this error, use the mouse to click on the State/Province box rather than using the Tab key.
  • When creating a company, if Next or Back is selected too quickly, a blank page displays. To fix this issue, close the browser window and re-open it.
  • When updating your account or making changes, a large Success confirmation box that takes up the entire page might display.
  • When clicking Forgot your password, and then submit your email address using the Enter key on your keyboard, you might receive an error if you click on the blinking indicator in the Success confirmation box.
