Securely print confidential documents and reduce waste with the HP JetAdvantage Private Print app (Private Print). Private Print allows documents to be sent to a personal HP JetAdvantage Private Print queue, where they are held securely until they are printed from the printer's control panel.
Before HP Private Print is installed for Windows®, an administrator must install HP Private Print onto a printer and the device must be enabled.

Use the following steps to install HP Private Print for Windows®:

Make sure that an administrator has installed the Private Print app onto a supported printer and that the device has been enabled. For information about how to install HP Private Print onto a supported printer, click
here. For more information about how administrators can enable a device, click
here, and then go to the 'Install HP JetAdvantage On Demand apps' section.

Log into HP JetAdvantage On Demand. A Welcome page displays.

On the Welcome page, click Begin Setup Wizard: Private Print, or click Continue Setup Wizard: HP Private Print to start the Setup Wizard for the Private Print app. Or, from the dashboard, click HP JetAdvantage Private Print: Access Your Private Print Queue and then click Setup to start the Setup Wizard. A ‘Download the Driver’ page displays.

Click Download and install the driver. A window opens with an *.exe file ready for download.
For a 64-bit operating system, download the HP ePrint + JetAdvantage driver for Windows 64–bit software. For a 32-bit operating system, download the HP ePrint + JetAdvantage driver for Windows 32–bit software.
note:
The HP ePrint + JetAdvantage driver can only be installed on Windows® 7 and Windows® 8 computers.

Save the .exe file in a location that can be found easily, and then open the file.

After opening the *.exe file, follow the prompts to complete the download.

Return to the Setup Wizard browser window, and then click Continue. A 'Test Private Print' page displays.

Follow the on-screen instructions to print a test document using the HP Private Print queue.
Confidential documents can now be sent to a personal HP JetAdvantage Private Print queue and then printed on demand from the printer's control panel.

Click HP JetAdvantage Private Print: Access Your Private Print Queue from the HP JetAdvantage On Demand dashboard to see a list of queued HP JetAdvantage On Demand documents that are ready for printing.

Documents in an HP Private Print queue expire 3 days after being added.
