HP JetAdvantage On Demand - Company Administrator Overview

Experience a new style of business printing and imaging, powered by HP JetAdvantage On Demand. HP JetAdvantage On Demand offers enhanced administrative control, including visibility and management of one's personal HP JetAdvantage Private Print queue, with a single web site to manage it all.

The company administrator dashboard can be customized, and might look similar to this example:

1. Log into the HP JetAdvantage On Demand web site to see an overview of the HP JetAdvantage On Demand features that are available to company administrators. For more information about how to install HP JetAdvantage On Demand, click here.
   • Click and drag widgets to reposition them on the dashboard. Widgets are components of HP JetAdvantage On Demand that allow users to perform a certain task or access a service.
   • The Users section of the dashboard displays the total number of HP JetAdvantage On Demand users in the company. It also displays the percentage of those users who are active, created, and suspended.
   • The HP JetAdvantage Private Print section launches the HP JetAdvantage Private Print app, where queued print jobs can be viewed or deleted. Administrators do not have access to end users' print queues.

     note:

     Before the HP JetAdvantage Private Print app can be used, a software driver must be installed and the device must be enabled.

2. Click on the left navigation menu to perform administrative tasks and manage a personal HP JetAdvantage On Demand account.
   • Click Dashboard to see the company dashboard.
   • If available, click Apps to go to the app catalog to add free HP JetAdvantage On Demand apps to the account, and see when additional HP JetAdvantage On Demand apps become available.

     note:

     Some apps might require a software driver to be downloaded before use.

   • Click Utilities to see any software drivers and utilities that might need to be downloaded in order for apps, like HP JetAdvantage Private Print, to work after they have been added to the account.
   • Click My Profile to change passwords or edit personal information, such as email addresses or phone numbers. Select the Opted In check box to receive notifications about HP JetAdvantage On Demand updates, new applications, features, and scheduled maintenance.
   • Click My Company to edit the company's information, such as the company contact name or email address.
   • Click Manage Users to view user details, add new users, suspend user accounts, and delete users.
   • Click Devices to see a list of printers that are supported by HP JetAdvantage On Demand.
   • Click Help to get support and information about how to use HP JetAdvantage On Demand.
