HP Touchpoint Manager - Uninstalling HP Touchpoint Manager

This document describes how to uninstall the HP Touchpoint Manager client from your Windows computer and remove the device from the HP Touchpoint Manager account.

Select your operating system from the following options, and then follow those instructions to uninstall HP Touchpoint Manager.

note:
If you are the IT administrator and want to remove a device from the HP Touchpoint Manager web portal, skip to the section From the HP Touchpoint Manager dashboard.

Uninstalling HP Touchpoint Manager from your Windows device

Follow these steps to uninstall HP Touchpoint Manager from your Windows devices.

Step one: Uninstalling the HP Touchpoint Manager client

Follow these steps to uninstall the HP Touchpoint Manager client from your computer.

In Windows, search for and open Uninstall a program.
From the list of programs, select HP Touchpoint Manager Client, and then click or tap Uninstall.

In the HP Touchpoint Manager Setup window, click or tap Remove.

The HP Touchpoint Manager Device Unenrollment Utility window opens.

Step two: Removing your device from HP Touchpoint Manager

There are two options to remove your device from the HP Touchpoint Manager account. You can remove your device through the HP Touchpoint Manager Device Unenrollment Utility window during the unenrollment process, or the administrator can remove the device later from the HP Touchpoint Manager web portal.

From the HP Touchpoint Manager Device Unenrollment Utility window

In the HP Touchpoint Manager Device Unenrollment Utility window, type your Username and Password, and then click Unenroll.

HP Touchpoint Manage removes your device automatically from the HP Touchpoint Manager account.

From the HP Touchpoint Manager web portal

The administrator can manually remove the device from the HP Touchpoint Manager web portal.

note:
When you remove a device from the web portal, the managed user still needs to remove the HP Touchpoint Manager client from the computer.

From the HP Touchpoint Manager web portal, click or tap the Devices tab.
Check the device that you wish to delete, and then click or tap Remove Selected Devices.

Click or tap Remove to confirm the deletion.

The device is removed from the list.

Uninstalling HP Touchpoint Manager from your Android devices

Uninstalling the app from an Android device is a two-step process:

Step one: Disabling HP Touchpoint Manager through Device Administrators

Follow these steps to remove HP Touchpoint Manager from the list of device administrators.

Tap Settings , and then tap Security.

Tap Device administrators, and then uncheck HP Touchpoint Manager.

Step two: Uninstalling HP Touchpoint Manager

Follow these steps to uninstall or remove HP Touchpoint Manager from your device.

Tap All apps .
Tap and hold the HP Touchpoint Manager app, and then drag the icon over Uninstall in the upper-left corner.

If prompted, click Uninstall to confirm.

Uninstalling HP Touchpoint Manager from your iOS devices

Follow these steps to uninstall the HP Touchpoint Manager client from your iOS device.

On your iOS device, tap Settings.

In Settings, tap General.

Tap Profile.

For a non-mobile device, tap Device Management.

Tap Remove.

For a non-mobile device, tap HP Touchpoint Manager Device Manager, and then tap Remove Management.

On a non-mobile device, go to the location to the HP Touchpoint app, tap and hold the icon until an X displays in the upper, left-hand corner, and then press the X.

HP Touchpoint Manager is now removed from your iOS device.
