Introduction

This document applies to some HP LaserJet Pro Multifunction printers (MFPs). For newer HP LaserJet Pro MFP M329, M428, M429, or M479 models, go to HP LaserJet Pro MFP M329, M428-M429, M479 - Set up Scan to Email.
The printer has a feature that enables it to scan a document and send it directly to one or more email addresses as an attachment in an email message.
note:
To use this scan feature, the printer must be connected to a network, and the Scan to Email feature must be configured.
