Use the transparent materials adapter (TMA) to scan slides or negatives.

Details

Follow the steps given below:
  1. Launch HP Solution Center
  2. Click on Scan Film.
  3. Click on Slides to File, Click on Change settings (change the resolution, File type, destination etc.)
  4. Settings under Change Settings.
  5. Check the Settings under Advanced TMA settings (Change the Resolution, Remove the Dust and scratches, Sharpen, etc,)
  6. Settings under Save to File Save Options (Change the file type and destination).
  7. Preview window.
  8. Once the slides are cropped, click on Finish. Click on Done to complete the scanning
