Follow these steps to resolve the issue.
note:Some of the following solutions require you to restart the computer. Consider bookmarking this page on your Web browser, so that you can reference it after restarting the computer.
Step one: Close all programs, restart the computer, and try printing again

Close all software programs.

Restart the computer.

Open the document you want to print, and then try to print again.

If these steps resolved the issue, there is no need to continue troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, see the next step.
Step two: Print from a different print driver

In the document that you are trying to print, click File, and then click Print.

Check the Name drop-down list.If the PCL 6 print driver is selected, click the PCL 5 or the HP postscript level 3 emulation print driver.

Try printing again.

If these steps resolved the issue, there is no need to continue troubleshooting.

Step three: Delete temporary files
Sometimes, deleting temporary files resolves a ‘spool 32’ error.

Click Start, and then click Run. The Run dialog box opens.

In the Open box, type %TEMP%, and then click OK. The Temp window opens.

In the menu bar, click Edit, and then click Select All.
-
Press the Delete key on the keyboard to delete the selected files.
note:
If a message displays that says some files are in use or cannot be deleted, click OK to close the message. -
Close the Temp window.

On the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon (
), type %temp% in the Search box, and then press Enter. The Temporary Files folder displays. -
Select all the files in this folder, and then click Delete.
note:
The message, 'Some files are in use and cannot be deleted' might display. Click Skip to close the message, and then continue to delete the remaining files.An 'Access is denied' error might occur. Click Close to close the error message, and then continue to delete the remaining files. -
Close the Temporary Files folder.

Right-click or tap and hold the bottom left corner of the screen, and then click or tap Run.

Type %temp% in the Run box, and then press Enter. The Temporary Files folder displays.

Select all files in this folder, and then click or tap Delete.
note:
The message, 'Some files are in use and cannot be deleted' might display. Click Skip to close the message, and then continue to delete the remaining files.An 'Access is denied' error might occur. Click Close to close the error message, and then continue to delete the remaining files. -
Close the Temporary Files folder.
Step four: Try printing again
Try the print job again.
