HP LaserJet Printers - Printing on Avery 5160 Labels when Text is not Properly Aligned

Issue:
Text may not be properly aligned in the label when printing Avery labels from MS Word or WordPerfect . The text is either to the left or towards the top.
Solution
The resolution is to download the specific template for this particular label.
  1. Go to the Avery website at www.avery.com and find, download and install the template using the instructions below.
      note:
    The link above will take you outside the Hewlett-Packard Web site. HP does not control and is not responsible for information outside of the HP Web site.
  2. Highlight the Software Tab and select Blank Template Library .
  3. Type in the Avery label number under Search by Product Number box (i.e., 5160).
  4. Click the Address Label link.
  5. Click the Download Template button.
  6. Click Open and a document opens up with the label.
  7. If there are no lines differentiating each label, click Table tab and then click ShowGridlines.
  8. Enter the text for the labels in each of the individual labels.
  9. Print the document.
  10. If there are still margin problems, change it under File, Page Setup.
  11. Once the label is printed with the correct settings, Save that document and use the same when printing next label.
Cause
This issue is most likely caused by incorrect settings loaded into MS Word or WordPerfect.
