HP Designjet 500ps printers - Mac OS: Printing to the HP Designjet 500ps from Mac OS X

Issue:
Printing to the HP Designjet 500PS printer from Mac OS X.
Solution
  1. If you do not require PostScript language capability, download the hp inkjet driver v2.6.1 for HP Designjet 500, 500PS, and HP Designjet 800. The hp inkjet driver may downloaded from http://designjet.hp.com.
  2. If you require PostScript language capability, obtain the EFI Designer Edition RIP XL.
If you wish to use the original HP Designjet 500PS PostScript RIP with Mac OS X, results may vary, depending on the version of Mac OS X.
