HP Designjet 20ps Printers - Low Resolution Output when Using PageMaker v. 6.5 or 7.0

Issue:
When printing to an HP Designjet 20ps printer from PageMaker the output resolution appears lower than it should.
Solution
Change the Frequency setting in PageMaker as instructed below:
  1. Ensure the Designjet 20ps is set as the default printer.
  2. In PageMaker attempt to print a file.
  3. In PageMakers print window, select the Color button.
  4. In the Print Color window, change the Frequency setting to 175 lpi as shown below in Figure 1.

  5. The file will now print with much better resolution, thus increasing the overall print quality of the file.
