HP Digital Sender 9100C - Control Panel Error: Object Not Found; Check Your Configuration

Issue:
Control panel error: "Object not found. Check your configuration." This error occurs when the user selects the e-mail function and then selects the SEARCH button to have LDAP search.
Solution
Verify that the LDAP Search Root or the name/password combination for authenticating searches in the LDAP server is correct. For example,
LDAP Search Root is: O=hp.com
Or:
LDAP Account Name: Jones
LDAP Password: xxxxxxxxxx
To find the correct search root for a LDAP server:
  1. Use a PC with Netscape Communicator 4.x (or greater) on it.
    note:
    Using Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer will not produce the correct results.
  2. In the URL address, input: ldap://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/ (where xxx... is the IP address of the LDAP server).
    note:
    HTTP is omitted in the URL.
  3. Choose OK to the message, asking that it be added to your preferences.
  4. Look for the naming contexts; this will reflect the correct search root name.
