HP Support Services - HP Maintenance Kit Replacement Service

Introduction

To protect your printer investment, minimize downtime and increase efficiency, HP will come to your location to install the Maintenance Kit.
Maintenance Kit Replacement includes the following:
  • Convenient Scheduling: Call the HP Customer Care Center during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time) to schedule service.
  • Next-day Onsite Support: HP will provide all labor, parts and materials necessary to replace a printer’s maintenance kit and clean the printer.
  • Hardware Verification: HP will power-on the printer and perform a test print to verify functionality.

Obtaining HP maintenance kit

To obtain an HP maintenance kit, do the following:
  1. Contact the HP Business Store at 1 (800) 888-9909. Calls must be logged before 5:00 P.M. local time, Monday through Friday for next business day service. Calls received after 5:00 P.M. local time on Friday will logged on Monday and serviced on Tuesday.

Service specifications

HP qualified technician will

  • Arrive at your location within one business day* of scheduling
  • Remove and dispose of old maintenance kit
  • Install new maintenance kit
  • Clean the printer
  • Run a test page to verify hardware works properly

Customer will

  • Ensure the printer is in full working order before scheduling service
  • Call the HP Customer Care Center to schedule maintenance kit replacement
  • Provide immediate and unrestricted access to the printer as requested by HP
    note:
    The printer must be in full working order before a maintenance kit can be purchased. This service does not include any repairs beyond the replacement of the maintenance kit. Replacement of any additional parts must be managed separately.

Service hours

HP Customer Care telephone support is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, excluding HP holidays. Calls must be received by 3:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday, for next business day * service. Calls received after 3:00 p.m. on Friday will be logged on Monday and serviced on Tuesday.

Geographic coverage

The service includes travel to any destination within 100 miles of an HP Support Office. Response time might increase if you are located more than 100 miles from the HP Support Office. This service is available in the U.S.
