HP Designjet 10ps and 20ps Printers - Unable to Print in Best Mode with Office Driver

Issue:
The Office driver that is available on www.hp.com, will not print in Best mode. The printer will produce errors on the front panel, generally 79:04. Print jobs sent in Productivity or Normal modes will print fine using the office driver.
Solution
The new firmware is available on the Designjet Online Web site and can be downloaded following the option for the System Maintenance.
System Maintenance Utility
To obtain the latest firmware version A.02.09 or higher, use the following directions:

note:
The System Maintenance Utility is used to download/update firmware.
Use the following path to access and download the utility from the Web:
  1. From the main page, select technical support from the left-navigation bar.
  2. Select the appropriate product.
  3. Under downloads select system maintenance.
    note:
    If a product registration window appears, complete or skip the registration and continue.
The latest version of the RIP software also can be ordered by clicking here to obtain software through hp designjet on-line (select the product, select drivers and software, go to the appropriate OS and select obtain software). After filling out the necessary information, the CD will be ordered and shipped. This CD with the RIP software will contain a more recent version of firmware but not the latest and it is strongly recommended to download the latest version.
