HP Designjet 50ps Printer - Proofing Engine Manager

What is the Proofing Engine Manager?
The Proofing Engine Manager is the application used by the administrator to set up and configure the proofer. It is the only place to set up Color Calibration and launch the Maintenance Tool (these tasks are strictly system administrator tasks).
You do not need to launch the Proofing Engine Manager to run the PrintManager of the software RIP. However, it is recommended that the Proofing Engine Manager is launched and configured the first time you install the printer. Launch the Proofing Engine Manager from Start->ProgramFiles->HP Designjet 50PS->Proofing Engine Manager.
This application cannot be accessed from a client.

Setup tab

Go to the Setup tab to setup the Proofing Engine Manager on the Designjet 50PS. Enter the Connection Type, Printer Model, Printer Name, and Printer Path information.

Parameter tab

Go to the Parameter tab and select Engine Manager parameters to configure the TCP/IP connection settings; then select Output Device ParametersProofer to configure the Paper Trays, Media Management, Output Mode, Duplex Unit, Close Loop Color Calibration, and Maintenance tool settings.
