HP Designjet 500 and 800 Series Printers - Yellow Cartridge not Accepted at Initial Setup

Issue:
Yellow Ink Cartridge not accepted at initial set up of printer.
Solution
The following step are provide to resolve this issue:
  1. Unplug printer
  2. Reseat cartridge
  3. Power printer on (If cartridge still not recognized, repeat steps one more time then continue)
  4. Unplug printer
  5. Pull Yellow and Magenta cartridges
  6. Use a fingernail or pen/pencil and slightly pull on the contacts in the Ink Supply Station (ISS) for the yellow cartridge
  7. Reseat yellow and magenta cartridges
  8. Power printer up.
Cause
Contacts in the ISS may have been pushed into a position that causes the bad connection with the cartridge.
