Check the following points before installing the HP Designjet 50ps. These requirements are mandatory and must be fully understood to be able to install and use the printer successfully.

Ensure that you have a dedicatedPC/Server that meets the minimum requirements.

Ensure that the PC/Server is connected correctly to the network.

Ensure that the PC/Server runs the required Windows Server OS. (Win2K Server recommended, WinNT4.0 Server minimum.)

Ensure that the PC/Server has the latest Service Pack available. (Minimum SP2 for Win2K and SP6a for WinNT.)

Ensure that the file system is NTFS for all drives.

Ensure that the Internet browser meets the minimum requirements (Netscape Navigator 4.08 or Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.0 PC/Server.)
