HP Designjet 2500/3500CP Printers - Printer Locks Up When Printing EPS File From ARCview
Issue:
When printing an Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) file from ARCview, the printer continually displays Receiving on the Front panel, yet never prints the file.
Solution
Set the page size to Inked Area through the printers Front panel menu (Page Format, Size =, Inked Area).
Cause
EPS PostScript files do not contain header information. As a result the printer does not receive the required page size information. Setting the page size in the Front panel may alleviate this problem.
note:Although EPS files are not supported by Designjet printers, setting some of the header information (page size) through the Front panel may work, but is not guaranteed.
