HP Designjet 5000PS Printers - Message Flushing Rest of Job When Using PhotoShop or CorelDRAW and the PostScript Driver

Issue:
The printer's front panel displays the message Flushing Rest of Job when using PhotoShop or CorelDRAW and the PostScript driver in Windows.
Solution
Setting both the driver and printer to ASCII encoding resolves this issue. Follow the directions below:
  1. Set the Encoding method in the driver to ASCII:
    1. On the computer, select Start, Settings, Printers.
    2. Right-click the correct 5000 series PS driver.
    3. Scroll to and click Properties.
    4. Click the Device Settings tab.
    5. Select Output Protocol, and change to ASCII.

    6. Click Apply, then OK.
    7. Continue with the remaining steps.
  2. Set the printer's internal encoding to ASCII:
    1. On the printer's front panel, use the Arrow keys to select the printer setup menu (Icon of printer in upper-right corner of display), and press ENTER.
    2. Scroll to Internal RIP settings..., and press ENTER.
    3. Scroll to PS Encoding=, and press ENTER.
    4. Scroll to ASCII, and press ENTER.
    5. Press the TOP key to return the main front panel display.
  3. Resend the print job.
