Tray 1

Tray 1 (the upper tray) holds up to 150 sheets of media. It is recommended that this tray be used to hold media sizes and types that are commonly used.
Tray 2
Tray 2 (the lower tray) holds up to 250 sheets of media. Tray 2 allows greater media flexibility with the ability to put different media types in different trays. Alternative Media Feed
Tray 1 (the upper tray) has a by-pass slot that takes ten sheets of media. The alternative media feed slot is intended for seldom-used media types. This slot can also be used to print on the back of an already printed sheet, as an alternative to using the duplexer, or if the duplexer does not give the correct orientation of the image on the paper.
Rear Manual Path
The rear manual feed is designed to provide a straight media path for printing on thicker media up to 0.52 mm such as cardstock or labels, without bending. This media path takes only single sheets.
