HP Designjet 1000 Series Printers - Using Extended Margins
Issue:
Can the margin between a drawing and the edge of the media be increased?
Solution
Yes, set the internal printer margin setting to Extended by following the steps below:

On the printer's front panel, use the Arrow keys to scroll to the Printer setup menu (icon of printer in lower right-hand corner of the front panel display).

Press Enter.

Scroll to Page Format and press Enter.

Scroll to Margins and press Enter.
-
Highlight Extended and press Enter.
-
Press the Back key until "Ready" or "Ready for Media" is displayed on the front panel.

Side margins - 5 mm (.2 inch)

Leading edge margin - 12 mm (.47 inch)

Trailing edge margin - 5 mm (.2 inch)
