The usable ink available in every color ink system is 370 milliliters (ml), while the total amount is about 410 ml.

• HP DesignJet CP Ink System (dye-based ink): Printing on coated paper, customers can expect to print about 400 A1/D-size prints.
• HP DesignJet CP Ink System (dye-based ink): Drop size for all colors is 21 picoliters.
• HP DesignJet CP Ink System UV (pigmented inks): You can expect to print up to 300 A1/D-size prints.

Imaging/dye-based ink

In general, the average ink cost per page is about $2.69 per square meter or $0.25 per square foot.

The total cost per page varies depending on the type of media that is being used and the type and size of the image on the page. The following table outlines these costs and assumes an image density of 40% and coverage of 100% while printing in Best mode:
