HP 38g Calculator - Printing the Display of a Plot

Introduction
This document explains how to print a screen capture from the HP 38g calculator.
Instructions
While viewing a plot (or any) display, a copy of the display may be sent to the optional HP 82240B Infrared printer:
  1. Press SYMB, then highlight and check the function desired.
  2. Press PLOT to view the graph.
  3. Press and hold the ON key, press and hold the PLOT key, then simultaneously release both keys. This procedure will perform a “screen capture” and store it in variable G0 (G zero).
  4. Place the HP 38g calculator and the infrared printer no further than two inches apart. Align the HP 38g calculator and the infrared printer such that the arrow mark (near the Hewlett-Packard logo just above the display) on the HP 38g calculator is aimed at the center of the printer’s infrared window (located just below the Hewlett-Packard logo).
  5. Turn on the infrared printer.
  6. Press HOME to return to the stack environment.
  7. Press the MATH key, then CMDS on the menu keys.
  8. In the PROGRAM COMMANDS menu, arrow down to select PRINT.
  9. Arrow right and down to select PRVAR, then press OK.
  10. Press A...Z, G 0 (G zero), then ENTER to execute the command.
