HP Jornada 540 Series Pocket PC - Metal Pins on the Cable or Cradle Are Bent

Issue:
The metal pins on the cable or cradle are bent and the HP Jornada 540 series pocket PC will not synchronize with the desktop PC.
Solution
If the cradle or cable was purchased within the last 30 days, return it to the reseller where it was purchased for an exchange. If the unit is out of warranty or if the Jornada cannot be returned to the reseller, contact HP Customer Care to arrange for the Jornada to be serviced or replaced.
