HP 360LX and 340LX Palmtop PCs - E-Mail System Support
e-mail systems Supported
The HP Palmtop PC is designed to work out of the box with internet e-mail. For corporate customers using cc:Mail, MS Mail, Lotus Notes or GroupWise, other software is needed. We will have e-mail software included on the CD-ROM packed in the box with the product to work with these other systems. For Microsoft (R) Exchange users, the HP 360LX and 340LX Palmtop PCs can make a local connection when in the cradle attached to the PC. It can also make a dial-up connection using the same software from the CD-ROM.
While the HP 360LX and 340LX Palmtop PCs support IrDA at 115 K Bps, they may or may not have full LAN protocols built in. Windows CE supports dial-up networking with a PPP connection for Internet use.
