HP CD-ROM Server for Ethernet Networks - Mounting a Network Drive in UNIX (R) (NFS)
How to mount a CD-ROM server on the UNIX network.
Before you begin: You will need root privileges to mount the CD-ROM server.
On UNIX systems the CD-ROM server is accessed using NFS. To access the server, you will have to do the following:
Create a directory for the CD-ROM server.mkdir <directory>Example:mkdir /hpcd
Mount the CD-ROM server.mount <IP address or host name>:/ <directory>Example:mount cdserv:/ /hpcd
note:The <IP address or host name> is the IP address or host name assigned to the CD-ROM server during TCP/IP configuration.
