HP CD-ROM Server for Ethernet Networks - How Can I Access and Configure the CD-ROM Server Using a Web Browser Without an Internet Protocol (IP) Address?
How can I access and configure the CD-ROM server by loading the INDEX.HTM file (located in the CD folder of the server file system) and using a web browser that has not been assigned an IP address?
No solution exists.
To access and configure the CD-ROM server using a web browser, select an available IP address and assign it to the server. Then load the INDEX.HTM file.
The CD-ROM server supports hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) over transmission control protocol/Internet protocol (TCP/IP). It does not support HTTP over other protocols, such as over NetBeui or over internetwork packet exchange (IPX).
