HP 2000C Professional Series Color Printer - Extended Output Tray

Issue:
Some HP 2000C customers have experienced an unacceptable level of paper sailing out of the printer output tray. This is more of an issue for customers that print on A4- or U.S. legal-size papers.
Solution
A new, longer output tray is now available. The new output deck assembly, C4530-60259, includes the hand-feed width adjuster and the new extended output tray, which is about 2 inches (approx. 5 cm) longer than the previous tray. This will reduce issues with media sailing out of the output tray.
Using the graphics below, determine which paper tray is currently in use. The longer tray is approximately flush with the front lower lip of the input tray (forward-most feature of printer). The shorter, older tray protrudes forward to the front of the keypad assembly
Old Design
New Design
The new tray will reduce issues with U.S. legal paper and should eliminate issues with standard U.S. and A4 paper.
To obtain the new tray, free of charge, contact HP Customer Care using the phone number listed in the User's Guide.
