HP LaserJet Enterprise, HP PageWide Enterprise - Set up a subscription to receive printer alerts and updates

Learn how to sign up for an HP subscription to receive alerts and updates for HP printers.

Subscribe to printer alerts and updates

To receive printer alerts and updates, follow these steps in the order presented.

Create an account

  1. Go to hp.com/go/alerts.

  2. Type the Email address, First name, and Last name.

    Note:

    If required, click change country, and then select a country from the drop-down list.

  3. Click Subscribe.

Add products to the account using Simple search

  1. In the Products section, select the Simple Search tab.

  2. Search for the printer(s).

    • Use the Search field to type the printer model and then click the search icon, OR

    • Select a product category from the Choose a product category drop-down list, and then select the appropriate product family from the Choose a family category drop-down list.

  3. Select a single or multiple printers.

    • Select a single printer and click Add selected products, OR

    • To select multiple printers, press and hold the Ctrl key and select the appropriate models, or press and hold the Shift key to select an entire list, and then click Add selected products.

  4. Make sure all desired printers are listed under the My products section.

    To remove a printer, select the check box next to the printer and click Remove selected.

  5. Click Subscribe.

Add products to the account using the SAID

Note:

Use SAID search only if you have a contract with HP. The HP Service Agreement ID (SAID) is a 12-digit numeric contract identifier sent to a customer when purchasing a software contract.

  1. In the Products section, select the SAID tab.

  2. Search for the printer(s) using either the product # field or the SAID field.

    • Type the printer model number in the product # field and click the search icon, OR

    • Type the SAID number in the SAID field and click the search icon.

  3. Select a single or multiple printers.

    • Select a single printer and click Add selected products, OR

    • To select multiple printers, press and hold the Ctrl key and select the appropriate models, or press and hold the Shift key to select an entire list, and then click Add selected products.

  4. Make sure all desired printers are listed under the My products section.

    To remove a printer, select the check box next to the printer and click Remove selected.

  5. Click Subscribe.

Set up a delivery method for the subscription

  1. Under the My subscriptions section, select the subscription(s).

    Note:

    To receive notifications for Security Bulletins and Alerts, subscribe to “Driver and support eAlerts”.

  2. Click Edit preferences.

  3. Under Delivery preferences section, select the delivery preference options.

  4. Under the My products section, click the Alerts available link to view the current alerts for subscribed products.
