DESCRIPTION
The display is distorted when starting or restarting the computer. This occurs when Legacy Boot mode is selected in the BIOS. Platforms with Intel UMA (Unified Memory Architecture) shared memory may exhibit this issue.

RESOLUTION
To recover from this issue, perform the steps below:
IMPORTANT: Legacy boot mode is not supported in Windows 10 and is not recommended by Microsoft.
  1. Turn on or restart the computer.
  2. Press the F10 key to enter the BIOS Setup.
  3. Select Advanced.
  4. Select Secure Boot Configuration.
  5. Select Legacy support disable and secure boot enable.
  6. Select Save when the setting change notification appears.
  7. Select Exit.
  8. Select Yes to save changes and exit the BIOS.
