The printer prints one side of the original on the upper half of the paper and
the other side on the lower half without reducing the size of the original. This feature is helpful for copying a small-sized item, such as a business card.
note:
- This copy feature is available only when placing originals on the scanner glass.
- The size of the 2-sided originals must be smaller than A5, if not, some of it will not be copied.
- Touch Copy from the display screen.Figure : Display screen
- Touch the Advanced tab > ID Copy from the display screen.
- Select a tray in Paper Source.
- Follow the steps on the display screen.
- Place the front side of an original facing down on the scanner glass as
shown below, and close the RADF.
note:
When placing an original on the scanner glass, leave a little space between the edge of the scanner glass and the original. Otherwise, part of original might not be printed.Figure : Scan front side - Press
(Start) on the control panel. The printer starts scanning.
- Turn the original over and place it on the scanner glass as shown below,
and then close the RADF.

(Start) on the control panel to begin copying.

- If the original is larger than the printable area, some portions might not be printed.
- If users do not press the
(Start) button, only the front side will be copied.
- If users press the
(Stop) button, the printer cancels the copy job and returns to ready mode.
