Messages appear on the control panel display to indicate the printer’s status
or errors. Refer to the tables below to understand the messages and their
meaning, then correct the problem, if necessary. Messages and their
explanations are listed in alphabetical order.

- If a message is not in the table, reboot the power and try the printing job again. If the problem persists, contact:
- Search for the contents of display message on the support site.
- Some messages might not appear on the display depending on the options or models.
- [color]: Indicates the color of toner or imaging unit.
- [tray number]: Indicates the tray number.
- [media type]: Indicates the media type.
- [media size]: Indicates the paper size.

a. Estimated cartridge life means the expected or estimated cartridge, which indicates the
average capacity of printouts and is designed pursuant to ISO/IEC 19752. The number of
pages might be affected by the percentage of image area, operating environment, printing
interval, media type and media size.
b. When the toner cartridge has reached its end of life, the printer will stop printing. Choose to stop or continue printing from the SyncThru™Web Service. (Settings >
Printer Settings > System > Setup > Supplies Management > Toner Cartridge Stop) or
Samsung Easy Printer Manager (Device Settings > System > Supplies Management >
Toner Cartridge Stop). Turning off this option and continuing to print might damage the
device's system.
