DESCRIPTION

Inserting the SD card tray upside down can damage the slot. Care must be taken to insert the SD card tray properly.

NOTE: computers manufactured beginning 01 September 2016 and later have a design change that prevents improper insertion of the SD card tray.

NOTE: a design change beginning with serial number xxx635xxxx prevents the issue

RESOLUTION

To avoid damage to the SD card tray and slot, take care to orient the SD card tray properly when inserting the tray into the slot:
