You can use your printer to produce copies of printed documents and photos.

All documents and photos are copied in normal quality print mode. You cannot change the print mode quality when copying.
Make a copy
Copy documents or photos from the printer control panel.
  1. Turn on the printer, and then make sure paper is loaded in the input tray.

  2. Load a single photo or a single document page into the scanner, print side up, with the edge of the paper straight and flush against the paper guide on the right side of the scanner. To prevent paper jams and poor print quality, do not load originals into the scanner that are too thick or stiff to bend in half without creasing the original.
      caution:
Do not scan originals with staples or paper clips attached. This might damage the scanner.

  3. When the original is loaded into the scanner, the printer pulls it partially into the scanner, and the scan light brightens. If the scanner does not pull in and hold the original, remove the original, and then load it into the scanner again.
  4. On the printer control panel, press the Start Copy Black or Start Copy Color button. You can increase the number of copies by pressing the button multiple times. Copying starts 2 seconds after the last button press.
      note:
If the printer does not pull in the original after you press the Start Copy Black or Start Copy Color button, press the Cancel button, and then repeat these steps.
The printer scans the original and then prints the copy.
