HP Color LaserJet Enterprise CP5525 Printers - 13.B9.xy Error

Issue:
A 13.B9.xy error is displayed on the control panel when paper is pulled partway into the fuser before jamming. The XY is a two digit alphanumeric code that provides information on the specific issue causing the error.
Solution
Step one: Check the fuser guide
Use the following steps to check the fuser guide:
  1. Open the right door of the printer.
    Figure : Open right door
  2. If paper is visible entering the bottom of the fuser, gently pull downward to remove it.

      note:
    Do not touch the transfer roller (callout 1). Contaminants on the roller can affect print quality.
  3. Grasp the handles and squeeze the blue release levers (callout 1).

  4. Pull the fuser (callout 2) straight out of the product to remove it.
  5. Locate the fuser guide. Ensure that fuser guide is not broken and the four clips are securely attached.

    • If it is broken, order the genuine HP part RC2–6551–000CN from HP PartSurfer.
Step two: Check the delivery rollers
Use the following steps to check the delivery rollers located in the top output bin:
  1. Locate the delivery rollers (where the paper exits the printer into the top output bin).

  2. Verify that the rollers turn when the printer is turned on.
  3. If the rollers do not turn, run a fuser motor test:
    1. On the control panel, press the Home button.
    2. Press Administration.
    3. Press Troubleshooting.
    4. Press Diagnostic Tests.
    5. Press the Down arrow to highlight the Component Test item, and then press the OK button. Press Component Test.
    6. Press Fuser Motor. If the rollers still do not move contact a local authorized HP dealer or service representative for service.
