DESCRIPTION
The battery does not charge or is not detected after being completely drained. If the battery is detected, it has a 0% power level and displays, "Plugged in - not charging". The LED charging light flashes orange repeatedly. The symptoms may follow the battery if it is inserted into a different computer with the same BIOS version. Inserting a new battery into the affected computer may temporarily resolve the issue, but the symptoms may reoccur if the battery is completely drained of power.
