I. Introduction
This Readme file provides specific information you should know before you install and use any of the driver versions that have been
listed above.
In addition, a list of fixes and enhancements are provided for these drivers.
Information and known issues are provided for the following operating systems:
- Windows Vista
- Windows XP
- Windows Server 2003
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows 2000
For additional information on the printer features and driver features, refer to the online help included with each software
component and the printer or mfp user guide.
II. Defects Fix List
The following issues have been fixed with this release:
- Navigating to Printing Shortcuts resets Job Storage options.
- Admin to admin PnP performance problem
- EMF bloat with PowerPoint® 2003 files
- PCL5 embedded Visio image in MS Word - part of graphic missing
- PS driver is unable to do multiple copy application collation, instead it just prints one copy
- Garbage shown in notification with driver when printer is set to French on control panel
- IPP printing does not work as expected
- HPZUI4wm.dll is causing spooler crash!
- Excel® document not printing properly in A4 with plug and play bundles
- Driver binds wrong edge with duplex printing from PowerPoint®
- Drivers installed on a virtual node in a cluster server environment do not have the ability to add .pcm font files
- Driver allows MS Office to override duplexing = on to off when only one page is printed.
- Wrong font name displayed in all HP drivers
- Printer shortcut fields cross populate in several different use cases
