DESCRIPTION
When the monitor is hot plugged and unplugged, several display issues are exhibited. This issue occur when the HP Z232 monitor OSD (On Screen Display) option is set to Always active.
The computer may exhibit one or more of the following symptoms:
  • The display panel flashes or flickers.
  • No video is displayed. (Display is lost)
  • An error may be displayed on a blue screen.
The following error may be displayed on a blue screen:

RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, set the DisplayPort Hot-Plug Detection option to Low Power.
  1. Open the OSD (On Screen Display) Menu.
  2. Select Input Control.
  3. Select the DP Hot-plug Detection option.
  4. Select Low Power.
  5. Select Save.
  6. Close the OSD Menu.
