HP Indigo WS6000 Digital Press - Substrate specifications

Use only allowable substrates that meet the following criteria:

Substrate types

  • Flexible packaging
  • Labels
  • Folding cartons

Substrate parameters

  • Width — 200 to 340 mm (7.87 to 13.38 in)
  • Thickness — 12 to 450 microns

Printing parameters

  • Repeat length — 470 to 1,000 mm (18.50 to 39.37 in)
  • Image format — 317 to 980 mm (12.48 to 38.58 in)

Substrate storage

  • Substrate is highly sensitive to relative humidity changes.
  • Allow your stock to adjust to the ambient conditions before using it.
  • Do not unwrap the substrate stack until it has reached room temperature.
  • Operate the press at a relative humidity range from 15 to 70 percent (non-condensing), and with ambient temperatures ranging from 15 to 30° C (59 to 86° F).
