HP Digital Sender 9100c - Unexpected Content Type Was Encountered in the Authentication Web Server Response

Issue:
The following error message is received:
An unexpected content type was encountered in the authentication Web server response for the current setting of [E-mail "From:" Field Data Source]. This setting requires the use of a proprietary authentication Web server.
Solution
Disable or uninstall Internet Information Services (IIS) on the computer, or install the HP Authentication Web server on a computer that does not have the same service pack installed.
Cause
The computer running the HP Authentication Web server has recently been updated, possibly with a service pack, which was installed and/or started Internet Information Services (IIS). The HP Digital Sender is expecting a response from the HP Authentication Web server, but it receives a response from IIS first.
