DESCRIPTION

The computer cannot connect, project, or mirror the screen to the wireless display. When attempting to connect to a Miracast supported device, the following message is displayed:

Oops, something went wrong

This occurs after the Intel Graphics driver is uninstalled, and then reinstalled from the SWSetup folder.

RESOLUTION

To recover from this issue, perform the following procedures to uninstall the driver and then download the latest driver from HP.com:

Procedure 1: Uninstall the driver from Device Manager.

Click Start.
Type Device Manager in the search box.
Select Device Manager.
Scroll down and expand Display Adapters.
Right-click on Intel UHD Graphics.
Select Uninstall device (a restart may be required).

Procedure 2: Download the latest driver from HP.com.

Go to HP Customer Support - Products.
Enter your HP computer product name, model or serial number.
Click Find.
Select Software and Driver Downloads.
Expand Driver-Graphics.
Download and install the appropriate SoftPaq.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver (a restart may be required).
