Use the following procedure to clear jams in the envelope feeder. When a jam occurs, the control panel displays one of the following messages and an animation that assists in clearing the jam.

Pull the tray completely out of the printer by pulling and lifting it up slightly.Figure : Pull and lift slightly to remove the tray from the printer

Remove any jammed or damaged envelopes from the tray.Figure : Remove jammed envelope from the tray

Remove any envelopes from the feed rollers inside the printer.Figure : Remove the jammed envelope from the tray opening

Reinsert the tray into the printer and then push it all the way in to close it.Figure : Reinsert and close the tray
