warning:

Always clear paper jams through the back door if possible. To avoid tearing the paper and damaging the print mechanism, pull paper from the printer slowly and gently. Avoid touching the internal components of the printer. If the print carriage is jammed, do not turn the power off.

1. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the all-in-one.
2. Remove the back door and as much jammed paper as possible.

3. Replace the back door and open the print carriage access door. If there is paper visible that cannot be removed through the back door, gently pull it out from the front.

4. Reconnect the power cord.

• Make sure the paper has been loaded correctly. Click here to learn how to load the paper (c00054708).
• Do not overfill the input tray. The input tray capacity varies depending on the type of paper you are using.
• Make sure the output tray is in place.
• Do not add paper to the input tray while the HP PSC is printing.
• Remove paper from the output tray frequently.
