Learn how to add a watermark to printed pages when printing from Windows. Predefined watermarks are available in the software, or there is an option to create a custom watermark.

Follow these steps to add a predefined watermark to printed pages when printing from an Office application or other app in Windows.
From the Office app, select the Print option.
In the Print dialog box, select the printer, and then click Printer Properties or Properties.
In the software dialog, click the Document tab.
In the Watermarks drop-down list, select a watermark (such as Confidential or Draft), and then click OK.
Below the Watermarks drop-down list, select the check box next to First page only to print the watermark on the first page only.
Or, if you want the watermark to print on every page of the document, do not select the check box.
Click OK to close the software dialog.
In the Print dialog box, click Print or OK to print the job.
Follow these steps to create a custom watermark and add it to printed pages when printing from an Office application or other app in Windows.
From the Office app, select the Print option.
In the Print dialog box, select the printer, and then click Printer Properties or Properties.
In the software dialog, click the Document tab.
In the Watermarks drop-down list, click + Custom.
The Watermark Details dialog box opens.
In the Name text field, type a name for the custom watermark.
In the Message field, type a message that will display as the watermark on the printed page(s).
To add other text to the watermark message, such as the date, page number, etc., click the drop-down list under Message, click the option you want, and then click Add.
Select other settings (such as Alignment, Font, etc.) for the custom watermark, if desired, and then click Save to save the new watermark.
In the software dialog, below the Watermarks drop-down list, select the check box next to First page only to print the watermark on the first page only.
Or, if you want the watermark to print on every page of the document, do not select the check box.
Click OK to close the software dialog.
In the Print dialog box, click Print or OK to print the job.
